Projects:

A few examples of strategies used by architects, shipwrights, and aerospace designers will be presented during the course of the semester.

Ideally, you might see somethings that inspire your work, and gain a bit more insight into the role of structure, materials, manufacture, construction, and begin to build an appreciation for the many professionals who can help you along the way.

The extreme complexity, or extreme simplicity that is present in these strategies requires you as an architect to have a clear vision of the hierarchical position of the systems and issues that exist in every building project, and that you be able to learn quickly, from each of the project partners, to understand how the vision you propose is intensified and refined throughout the process from idea to architecture.
