I am moved with the depth of thought you put into this blog. On 9/11 I stood overlooking Erie Street and peered through the wind to the east. wondering if there would be a plane to take out the Hancock Building or the Sears Tower.

I waited. We all listened to what we could over the internet. I felt sick to my stomach and just wanted to get home to my kids and hug them.

Your writing is so impressive....especially your remembrance of 9/11...I remember that day too, watching tv in one of the conference rooms at work....thinking that it was just a pilot mishap with the first plane, then realizing, watching the second plane come in, that it was truly an act of terrorism...I remember freaking out, as others were around me....and literally NOBODY was working....people standing there watching, crying, and then when the first tower collapsed...it was incomprehensible....Yes, thank God for the heroes among us.
